Walk with me down that twisitng curving road
Strolling down at the first crack of dawn
And you shall see those long line of trees
And how they have slowly come to spawn
You can smell those freshly bloomed flowers
As the clear blue sky holds you in awe
You can marvel at the bright colors of spring
Exclaim as you see the horizon without a flaw
The day shall pass quicker than you know
And it'll be time for us to head back home
And I'll take you up the same road my friend
Down the same way that we had come to roam...
But now as dusk would hold us close...
Is that a broken road that you see ahead
Do the walls beside you give you the shivers
As they play the game of light and shade
And do the trees now look blacker and thicker
And you know not what lies within....
If you were to look nervously at me my friend
You would only find me grin...
For I too have walked by day and night
And I too have played in dark and light
And as I opened my heart and felt around
I found the sky only as beautiful as the ground
